Meet The Founder & Editor In Chief
J.T. Westonberry is a visionary Writer and Filmmaker who skillfully weaves together themes of love, culture, and spirituality in her art. Her work resonates deeply with audiences, combining vivid imagery with R&B, Hip Hop, and Jamaican Dancehall melodies as the soundtrack to create a truly captivating experience.
Though a lifelong reader who declared at 10 years old that she would be a writer (with poetry as her first love), JT’s journey truly began in junior high school. She found solace in the pages of her mother's romance and urban fiction novels, which inspired her to start crafting her own romance short stories. Drawing from the complex realities of life, music and TV, her passion for storytelling grew.
Now, with Urban Love Stories, JT is dedicated to creating a more inclusive media landscape. Her platform is a vibrant and supportive community that celebrates and amplifies the voices of Black women in love. Through her words, visuals, and unwavering commitment to her craft, JT aims to be a powerful force, bringing more love and hope into the world.
